In October 2016, we were in the final fight of our lives for Mary and Liam.  I don’t remember sleeping for an entire month.

After 8 years of madness, it had come down to the details I’d been consumed with recording over hundreds of hours.  The alienator’s secrets were finally going to be unleashed and used against her.

There are no words to describe how it felt to have our attorney, Ellen, copy and paste my work to be used in the final legal documents.  It was as though I had been painstakingly constructing the bullet that was now going to pierce the enemy in the final round.

Jack’s oldest daughter Katie had been turned against us a year and a half earlier.  That is what had driven us to go back to court yet again and push for full custody.  On March 22, 2015 at 4:22 pm, she’d sent a text stating she needed a “break.”

Just days before, we’d seen her at a band competition full of smiles.  Then, all communication was cut off forever.  The only times we heard from her now were through the GAL letting us know about the abuse accusations she was ready to share with the world in open court.

Little did she know, we’d be forced to give her that chance.

The alienator made it known early on she wouldn’t be going down without a fight.

The final play was calculated and heartbreaking.  We were forced to sacrifice Kaitie to save Mary and Liam.

On November 8, 2016, we subpoenaed Kaitie to testify about the heinous acts she’d been so desperately trying to get us charged with.

As expected, Kaitie refused to testify.

The alienator settled.

On November 16, 2016, Jack was awarded sole physical and legal custody of Mary and Liam.

If only that had been the ending to our story…
